Charles Phoenix Super Duper Double Decker Bus Tour of Palm Springs
This exclusive tour traces the history of local architecture, and views the dozens of mid-century modern estates and homes, along with commercial and civic landmarks buildings and other architectural treasures, that have made Palm Springs world famous.
Celebrity Haven – The Historic Palm Springs Tennis Club Area Historical Walking Tour
See close up the inns and resorts that were, and remain today, hideaways for the stars.
Frank Sinatra’s Neighborhood – The Movie Colony Historical Walking Tour
With the luxurious El Mirador as its centerpiece, the Movie Colony was developed in the 1930s and 1940s. Frank Sinatra (visit http://www.sinatra.com/) made it his neighborhood in the 1950s when his home, known as “Twin Palms,” became party central.
Sunnylands Tour of the Annenberg Estate & Visitors Center
Visitors experience the residence designed by A. Quincy Jones in 1966 and restored from 2010 to 2012. They examine the interior design by William Haines and Ted Graber, the Sunnylands art collection, and explore the 200-acre estate with its nine-hole golf course.
