Going back as far as 2009, HPE has hosted a variety of tennis events across the valley thanks to the infectious energy and passion for sport of our very own Carolyn Lumber. We took an extended timeout, but we’re back in the swing of it this year!
After spending the majority of her life on the court or on the golf course, for the past 13 years Carolyn has been instrumental in guiding Hot Purple Energy from its first installation to the respected industry leader it is today. Her passion for the health of our planet and her ability to convey the benefits of solar energy to our customers is purely inspirational.
So, this year Nate Otto and the entire HPE family want to show their appreciation by paying tribute to Carolyn with another fun-spirited tennis event in her honor – and you’re invited!
April Fool’s Day is the date and that’s no joke. Thanks to the generosity of Ironwood Country Club, their exceptional tennis facility is the location. Capacity and parking is limited, so if you wish to attend please RSVP by reaching out to marketing@hotpurpleenergy.com.
HPE has always made it a priority to support the Coachella Valley community by giving back to those who surround and support us. This year is no exception. We have chosen a local youth-oriented tennis organization as the recipient of our fundraising effort, and we encourage you to help us. The Love & Love Tennis Foundation was established by International Tennis Hall of Famer Rosie Casals and top-level player and teaching professional Tory Fretz. Their mission is to provide tennis opportunities to children who live in diverse, under-served communities of the Coachella Valley. Their dedication to bring the joy of tennis to every child who wants to learn is a passion we wholeheartedly embrace.
