Energy academy readies high school students for career in green technology
DESERT HOT SPRINGS — David Moody and Rodrigo Farias stood on a scaffold, measuring meticulously, because it all had to fit

just right. The two high school seniors had each studied solar panels for more than two years, but this was the first time they’d ever climbed on to a roof to install one.
“All our learning has pretty much built up to this point,” Moody said. “All our hard work is finally paying off.”
