
PALM SPRINGS — Hot Purple Energy presented Palm Springs with an award for the community’s commitment to clean energy.
The Palm Springs-based organization also gave the city a $5,000 kilowatt solar system for its portable stage that’s used during community events.
HPE promotes energy awareness and environment preservation.
“The city’s outstanding citizenship to better the environment with their forward thinking energy efficiency efforts as a whole fits perfectly with our philosophy as an energy company committed to making a long-term impact on our planet for a better future,” HPE President Nate Otto said in a statement.
