Chris’ journey in construction started as a child working alongside his architect father. From there Chris went on to get his general contractor license and his C – 10 for electrical. With the slow down of 2008 Chris took a job as a superintendent building luxury homes for our CEO, Nate Otto, prior to Hot Purple Energy.
In 2011 Chris joined Nate again, this time in the field of solar. Chris’ deep understanding of all aspects electrical, both low voltage and high. Paired with his background in building; concrete, steel, framing, fabrication. It’s this wealth of knowledge that made Chris a perfect fit to take projects from conception to overseeing the installation of those same projects. Chris is a big part of why Hot Purple Energy is seen as a general contractor specializing in solar and storage rather than just another solar contractor.
